- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet: Take a baking sheet and line it with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter and sugars: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to combine 1 cup of unsalted butter, 1 cup of brown sugar, and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar. Beat until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the eggs and vanilla: Incorporate 2 large eggs, one at a time, mixing well between each. Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Whisk dry ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Combine the mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the caramel sauce: Gently mix in 1 cup of salted caramel sauce.
- Shape the cookies: Use a cookie scoop to drop rounded dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
- Sprinkle with sea salt: Add a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of each dough ball.
- Bake to perfection: Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden at the edges and underbaked in the center.
