Description

Delightful bright bars featuring a tangy lemon and smooth cream cheese filling over a buttery crescent roll crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into a greased baking dish to form a crust.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, egg, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
  6. Let cool before cutting into bars.
  7. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
