Description
A delightful Mixed Berry Trifle featuring layers of creamy vanilla pudding, whipped cream, and fresh mixed berries.

- 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup vanilla pudding (prepared)
- 1 cup angel food cake, cubed
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- In a large trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer half of the cubed angel food cake at the bottom.
- Add half of the prepared vanilla pudding over the cake layer.
- Spoon half of the mixed berries on top of the pudding.
- Spread half of the whipped cream over the berries.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining angel food cake, pudding, mixed berries, and whipped cream.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- Make sure to use fresh, ripe berries for the best flavor.
- This trifle can be prepared a few hours in advance; just keep it chilled until serving.
- For a lighter version, you can use low-fat whipped cream and pudding.
