Description

A delightful Mixed Berry Trifle featuring layers of creamy vanilla pudding, whipped cream, and fresh mixed berries.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup vanilla pudding (prepared)
  • 1 cup angel food cake, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  2. In a large trifle dish or individual serving glasses, layer half of the cubed angel food cake at the bottom.
  3. Add half of the prepared vanilla pudding over the cake layer.
  4. Spoon half of the mixed berries on top of the pudding.
  5. Spread half of the whipped cream over the berries.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining angel food cake, pudding, mixed berries, and whipped cream.
  7. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
