Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the instructions provided on the cake mixes.
- Prepare three 9-inch round cake pans by greasing and lining them with parchment paper.
- Bake the chocolate cake mix following the package directions. Cool completely on wire racks.
- Repeat this process for the vanilla and strawberry cake mixes.
- Begin the stacking process by laying the chocolate layer on your serving plate. Spread an even layer of frosting on top.
- Add the vanilla layer and spread more frosting. Complete with the strawberry layer on top.
- Frost the entire cake with remaining buttercream frosting, smoothing it to your liking.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and sprinkle with sliced strawberries and chocolate shavings.
- Slice the cake and serve.
