  • 1 box strawberry cake mix
  • 3 cups buttercream frosting
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup (for drizzling)
  • Strawberries (for garnish)
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions provided on the cake mixes.
  2. Prepare three 9-inch round cake pans by greasing and lining them with parchment paper.
  3. Bake the chocolate cake mix following the package directions. Cool completely on wire racks.
  4. Repeat this process for the vanilla and strawberry cake mixes.
  5. Begin the stacking process by laying the chocolate layer on your serving plate. Spread an even layer of frosting on top.
  6. Add the vanilla layer and spread more frosting. Complete with the strawberry layer on top.
  7. Frost the entire cake with remaining buttercream frosting, smoothing it to your liking.
  8. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and sprinkle with sliced strawberries and chocolate shavings.
