Description

No Bake Peppermint White Chocolate Cheesecakes are a creamy, festive dessert that combines the flavors of peppermint and white chocolate, topped with a crunchy Oreo crust.


Ingredients

  • 12 regular size original Oreos
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 8 Tbsp powdered sugar, divided
  • 4 oz white baking chocolate
  • 10 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
  • Red food coloring, optional
  • Mini Oreos and more white chocolate, optional
  • Candy canes, for decoration

Instructions

  1. Make the Oreo crust by pulsing the Oreos in a food processor until they are fine crumbs. Combine with melted butter.
  2. Press about 2 1/2 tablespoons of the Oreo mixture into six serving cups to form an even layer.
  3. Melt the white chocolate according to the package instructions and allow it to cool slightly.
  4. In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Add 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form, then refrigerate.
  5. In another bowl, whip cream cheese until smooth. Mix in the remaining 5 tablespoons of powdered sugar and peppermint extract, then incorporate the cooled white chocolate.
  6. Optionally tint half of the mixture with red food coloring for added festive color.
  7. Gently fold the whipped cream into the white chocolate mixture until just combined, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.

Notes

  • For a more festive look, use mini Oreos and additional melted white chocolate for topping.
  • Chill the cheesecakes for a few hours before serving to help them set properly.
