Description

A delicious oatmeal bread infused with quark, offering a perfect balance of hearty oats and creamy texture.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 100 g rolled oats
  • 100 g spelt flour
  • 50 g almond flour
  • 15 g flaxseeds
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a loaf pan with baking paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl: combine rolled oats, spelt flour, almond flour, flaxseeds, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Prepare wet ingredients by whisking the egg and quark together until smooth.
  4. Combine the wet mixture with the dry ingredients, stirring until a thick dough forms.
  5. Transfer the dough into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  6. Bake the bread for about 40–45 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  7. Cool the bread slightly before slicing.
