Description

A creamy, tangy dip packed with the robust flavor of olives, feta, and cream cheese, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 200 g Green Olives (Castelvetrano or Manzanilla)
  • 150 g Feta Cheese (block feta in brine)
  • 100 g Cream Cheese (room temperature)
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 Roasted Red Pepper (chopped)
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano
  • ½ tsp Chili Flakes (optional)
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste)
  • 2 Green Olives (for garnish)
  • Drizzle of Olive Oil (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients, ensuring the cream cheese is at room temperature.
  2. Combine green olives, feta cheese, and cream cheese in a food processor; pulse until smooth.
  3. Add extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice; blend until well incorporated.
  4. Add roasted red pepper, dried oregano, chili flakes, and black pepper; pulse a few more times.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with green olives and olive oil.

Notes

Chill the dip for a couple of hours for flavors to meld. Store in an airtight container for up to three days.
