- 1 cup unsweetened milk (dairy or plant-based)
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- ½ cup fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
- 1 small banana, sliced
- 2 tbsp chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
- 1 tbsp nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl or large jar, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Whisk or stir well to ensure everything blends thoroughly.
- Cover the bowl or jar with a lid or plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator overnight, allowing the oats and chia seeds to absorb the liquid and soften for at least 8 hours.
- In the morning, retrieve your jar and give the mixture a good stir. If you prefer a thinner consistency, add a splash of milk until you reach your desired texture.
- Top your oats with fresh berries, banana slices, your choice of chopped nuts, or a dollop of nut butter as desired. Serve chilled and enjoy every delightful bite!
