- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (like parsley or chives), chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly distributed and form into small meatballs.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the meatballs on it. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until cooked through and browned.
- While the meatballs are baking, bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the cubed potatoes until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, minced garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Mash until creamy and smooth.
- Serve the meatballs over the garlic herb mashed potatoes.
