Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring savory meatballs with creamy garlic herb mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (like parsley or chives), chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly distributed and form into small meatballs.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the meatballs on it. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until cooked through and browned.
  4. While the meatballs are baking, bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the cubed potatoes until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, minced garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper. Mash until creamy and smooth.
  6. Serve the meatballs over the garlic herb mashed potatoes.
