Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well until combined.
  4. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  6. Fold in the M&M candies until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden.
  9. Use chocolate chips to create bunny faces on the cookies if desired.
  10. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, make sure butter is at room temperature and do not overmix the dough.
