Description

Deliciously savory meatballs coated in a spicy chili honey glaze, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha for glaze
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce for glaze
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Sliced green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Mix the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sriracha, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until just combined.
  4. Form the mixture into 20 to 24 small meatballs, approximately 1.5 inches in diameter.
  5. Bake in the oven for 15 to 18 minutes until light brown and cooked through (165°F/74°C).
  6. Prepare the glaze by simmering honey, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small saucepan for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Glaze the meatballs in the sauce until evenly coated.
  8. Serve garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, consider using an air fryer. Adjust sriracha to control spice levels.
