- 2 boxes brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box)
- 2 boxes instant chocolate pudding (3.9–4 ounce boxes)
- 16 ounces Cool Whip
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 pound fresh strawberries (sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix instructions.
- Prepare the brownie mix in a large bowl, combining the mix with the ingredients suggested on the box.
- Pour the brownie batter into your greased 9×13 pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cold milk and instant chocolate pudding mix.
- Whisk vigorously for 2 minutes until the mixture thickens significantly.
- Gently fold in half of the Cool Whip, creating a smooth mixture.
- In your trifle bowl, start by placing a layer of brownie squares at the bottom.
- Next, spoon on a layer of the chocolate cream mixture, spreading it out evenly.
- Add a generous layer of sliced strawberries on top.
- Repeat layers until you reach the top of your bowl, ending with a layer of chocolate cream.
- Top it all off with the remaining Cool Whip and a sprinkle of strawberries or chocolate shavings if desired.
