- 2 cups of strawberries, chopped
- 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup of whipped cream
- 1 cup of crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 1/4 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Topping: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Macerate the Strawberries: In another bowl, mix the chopped strawberries with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Allow them to sit for about 10 minutes.
- Make the Ice Cream Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Layer the Ingredients: In your baking dish, spread half of the ice cream mixture evenly across the bottom. Layer the macerated strawberries over the top, followed by the remaining ice cream mixture.
- Top with Crumble: Sprinkle the buttery crumble evenly over the ice cream layers.
- Freeze to Perfection: Place the dish in the freezer for a minimum of 240 minutes or until completely firm.
- Slice and Serve: Once fully frozen, remove from the freezer. Cut into bars and serve.
