Description

Delightfully creamy Strawberry Crunch Bars with a crispy graham cracker topping make for the perfect summer treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup of vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 cup of crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup of butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Topping: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Macerate the Strawberries: In another bowl, mix the chopped strawberries with 1 tablespoon of sugar. Allow them to sit for about 10 minutes.
  3. Make the Ice Cream Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Layer the Ingredients: In your baking dish, spread half of the ice cream mixture evenly across the bottom. Layer the macerated strawberries over the top, followed by the remaining ice cream mixture.
  5. Top with Crumble: Sprinkle the buttery crumble evenly over the ice cream layers.
  6. Freeze to Perfection: Place the dish in the freezer for a minimum of 240 minutes or until completely firm.
  7. Slice and Serve: Once fully frozen, remove from the freezer. Cut into bars and serve.
