Description

Sweet Strawberry Brownie Kabobs offer a delightful combination of rich brownie squares, fresh strawberries, and gooey marshmallows, all drizzled with melted chocolate for an indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box Brownie Mix
  • 1 pint Fresh Strawberries, hulled and rinsed
  • 1 cup Marshmallows (can substitute with bananas or angel food cake)
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (consider dark chocolate for a healthier alternative)
  • 10 pieces Wooden Skewers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the brownie mix package instructions. Combine the mix with water, oil, and eggs, then pour into a greased baking dish. Bake for about 20–25 minutes at 350°F until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting into squares.
  2. Rinse your fresh strawberries under cold water. Hull each berry to remove the green tops. Ensure the strawberries are dry before assembly.
  3. Thread a square of brownie onto a wooden skewer, followed by a strawberry and a marshmallow. Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving space at the bottom for handling.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, measure out your semi-sweet chocolate chips. Microwave in short intervals, stirring, until fully melted and smooth, which takes about 1–2 minutes.
  5. Dip the top half of the assembled kabobs into the melted chocolate or drizzle it over each kabob. Place them on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  6. Refrigerate the kabobs for about 10–15 minutes until the chocolate has set. Serve them on a platter or in jars for presentation.

Notes

  • Opt for homemade brownie mix for a more personalized flavor.
  • Bananas or angel food cake can be great alternatives to marshmallows.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of chocolate for the drizzle.
