Description
A delightful fusion of traditional taco flavors with the hearty goodness of a rice bowl.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 avocado, diced
- 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 tsp taco seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook thoroughly until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the taco seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined. Let it simmer for a few minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Grab serving bowls and start with a scoop of cooked rice, adding the seasoned beef on top. Spoon salsa over the beef.
- Garnish with diced avocado, chopped cilantro, and shredded cheese.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Customize with black beans, corn, or jalapeños for added flavor. Use lime juice on avocado to prevent browning.
