Description

A sweet and indulgent treat with rich dark chocolate and creamy white chocolate, topped with vibrant strawberries and festive sprinkles.


Ingredients

  • 7 oz high-quality dark chocolate (60–70% cocoa), chopped
  • 3.5 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 oz freeze-dried strawberries, lightly crushed
  • 2 tablespoons Valentine-themed sprinkles
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pistachios or sliced almonds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the Dark Chocolate: Place the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pot of gently simmering water. Stir periodically until smooth. Alternatively, use a microwave.
  3. Spread the Chocolate: Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread into a rectangle.
  4. Melt the White Chocolate: In a separate bowl, melt the white chocolate using the same method.
  5. Create the Marbled Effect: Drizzle the melted white chocolate over the dark chocolate base and swirl gently.
  6. Add the Toppings: Sprinkle the freeze-dried strawberries, sprinkles, and nuts evenly and lightly press into the surface.
  7. Chill: Place in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until set.
  8. Break and Serve: Once firm, break into irregular pieces.
