Description

A delightful creation that blends rich, creamy textures with the sweetness of white chocolate, pecans, and coconut.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
  2. Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs individually, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Prepare the dry ingredients by whisking together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Combine the wet and dry ingredients by gradually adding the dry mixture into the wet, alternating with the buttermilk.
  6. Folding in the white chocolate chips, shredded coconut, and chopped pecans without overmixing.
  7. Distribute the batter evenly among the prepared pans.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
  10. Frost with your favorite frosting and serve.

Notes

For a unique twist, consider adding flavored extracts such as almond or coconut for extra depth of flavor.
