Instructions
- Begin by brewing your coffee and allowing it to cool.
- Dip the ladyfingers quickly in the cooled coffee and layer them in the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until soft peaks form.
- Fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth and cohesive.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the layer of ladyfingers.
- Add a layer of sliced bananas over the mascarpone mixture.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and banana slices, finishing with the creamy layer on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.
