  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Begin by brewing your coffee and allowing it to cool.
  2. Dip the ladyfingers quickly in the cooled coffee and layer them in the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  3. Whip the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract in a large bowl until soft peaks form.
  4. Fold in the mascarpone cheese until smooth and cohesive.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture evenly over the layer of ladyfingers.
  6. Add a layer of sliced bananas over the mascarpone mixture.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, and banana slices, finishing with the creamy layer on top.
  8. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
  9. Dust the top with cocoa powder before serving.
