Instructions
- Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium heat until golden brown and crispy, about 6-8 minutes.
- Drain excess fat by transferring the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate.
- Prepare the bourbon maple glaze by adding bourbon and maple syrup to the same skillet; simmer for about 2-3 minutes until it thickens.
- Toast the bread in another skillet with melted butter until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Cook the eggs sunny-side-up in the skillet used for bacon, seasoning with black pepper.
- Assemble the toast by layering with crispy bacon, drizzling with glaze, and topping with a cooked egg.
- Garnish with chopped chives or green onions before serving.
