Description

A comforting casserole with layers of creamy hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, and a crunchy Dorito topping.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag of frozen hashbrowns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 bag of Doritos (crushed)
  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: additional toppings like green onions or extra cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the frozen hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, and chopped onions in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the crushed Doritos on top of the casserole.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, customize with bell peppers or bacon. Make ahead and refrigerate overnight for best results.
