Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
- Combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup sugar, and melted butter in a bowl.
- Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat the cream cheese in a large mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add 1 cup sugar and the vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Pour the batter over the prepared crust and spread it evenly with a spatula.

- Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside for an additional hour.
- Cool to room temperature before refrigerating for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
