- 1 lb salmon fillet, skin removed
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp sriracha
- 1 tsp lime juice
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Cut the salmon into bite-sized pieces, about 1-2 inches.
- Set up your breading station with flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs in three shallow bowls.
- Dredge each piece of salmon in flour, dip in egg wash, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Fry the salmon bites in heated oil until golden and crispy, about 3–4 minutes on each side.
- Prepare the bang bang sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice until smooth.
- Serve the salmon bites with the bang bang sauce and garnish with green onions.
Notes
To avoid sogginess, pat the salmon dry. You may bake instead of fry if preferred.
