Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup grape jelly
Instructions
- Combine ingredients in a large bowl, gently mixing together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about one inch in diameter.
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together the barbecue sauce and grape jelly in a different bowl.
- Layer the meatballs in a single layer in the crockpot and pour the sauce over them.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot, either over rice or as an appetizer.
Notes
You can prepare and freeze the meatballs in advance. Reheat in the crockpot to enjoy later.
