Description

A whimsical dessert resembling a fluffy snowball, featuring rich chocolate layers, creamy marshmallow fluff, and colorful coconut topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 can (7 oz) marshmallow fluff
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup shredded coconut (colored pink)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your 13×9 inch pan.
  2. Mix the chocolate cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Bake the batter in the prepared pan for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
  4. Whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until stiff peaks form.
  5. Layer the marshmallow fluff evenly across the cooled cake.
  6. Top with whipped cream, smoothing it into a layer.
  7. Add the pink coconut on top of the whipped cream.
  8. Chill the cake for at least 1 hour before slicing.

Notes

Prepare the cake one day in advance for deeper flavors, and avoid underbaking by checking for doneness with a toothpick.
