- 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
- 2 medium Ripe Avocados
- 1 cup Melted Dairy-Free Chocolate
- 1/2 cup Dairy-Free Milk
- 1/4 cup Dutch-Process Cocoa Powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Optional)
- 1 teaspoon Espresso Powder (Optional)
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 cup Dairy-Free Whipped Cream
- 1 tablespoon Chocolate Shavings/Chips (Optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the cherries by washing, pitting, and halving them. Toss in a bowl with maple syrup.
- Blend the mousse by combining avocados, melted chocolate, dairy-free milk, cocoa powder, (optional) vanilla, (optional) espresso powder, and salt in a food processor.
- Layer the chocolate mousse at the bottom of serving cups.
- Add the maple-infused cherries on top of the mousse layer.
- Finish with a dollop of dairy-free whipped cream.
- Garnish with chocolate shavings or chips.
- Chill the dessert cups in the fridge for at least 1 hour to set.
Notes
Make the chocolate mousse a day in advance for convenience, and avoid using overripe avocados for the best texture.
