- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Cooked Bacon, crumbled
- 2 Jalapeños, sliced
- 1 Egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry dough on a lightly floured surface until thin.
- Mix together the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, and sliced jalapeños in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cut the rolled dough into strips, approximately 1-2 inches wide.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip.
- Roll the dough over the filling, twisting tightly to form the twists.
- Arrange the twists on the baking sheet, leaving space for expansion.
- Brush the tops with egg wash for a golden sheen.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
