- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 5 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup mango puree
- Whipped cream, for topping
- Fresh mango slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, and mango puree.
- Poke holes all over the cooled cake and pour the milk mixture evenly over the top.
- Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Top with whipped cream and fresh mango slices before serving.
Notes
This cake tastes even better the next day. Refrigerate for improved flavor.
