Description

A moist and creamy dessert that combines the richness of three milks with vibrant mango flavor, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup mango puree
  • Whipped cream, for topping
  • Fresh mango slices, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter mixture, stirring until incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  7. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  8. Whisk together sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, and mango puree.
  9. Poke holes all over the cooled cake and pour the milk mixture evenly over the top.
  10. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  11. Top with whipped cream and fresh mango slices before serving.

Notes

This cake tastes even better the next day. Refrigerate for improved flavor.
