Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by greasing it well.
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream the softened butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Incorporate the orange zest, lemon zest, orange juice, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the dry ingredients in batches, alternating with the buttermilk.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 28 to 34 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Make the frosting by beating the cream cheese until smooth, then mixing in the powdered sugar and heavy cream.
- Frost the cooled cake and garnish with orange zest.
