- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until they resemble wet sand.
- Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to form a solid base.
- Beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
- Fold in the chopped pecans evenly into the creamy filling.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
- Whisk together the corn syrup and brown sugar, then carefully pour this mixture over the cheesecake.
- Bake the cheesecake for 55-60 minutes, or until edges are set with a slight jiggle in the center.
- Cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating.

Allow cheesecake to chill overnight for the best flavor and presentation. Can be made a day in advance.
