Description

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until they resemble wet sand.
  3. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a springform pan to form a solid base.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  6. Fold in the chopped pecans evenly into the creamy filling.
  7. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  8. Whisk together the corn syrup and brown sugar, then carefully pour this mixture over the cheesecake.
  9. Bake the cheesecake for 55-60 minutes, or until edges are set with a slight jiggle in the center.
  10. Cool completely at room temperature before refrigerating.
