Description

Delightful crescent pastries filled with a rich pecan pie filling, perfect for holidays or cozy evenings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup of pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup of corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup of butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
  4. Roll out the crescent dough and separate it into individual triangles.
  5. At the wide end of each triangle, place a generous spoonful of the pecan mixture and roll it up.
  6. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and place the crescents seam-side down.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

These crescents can be made ahead of time, and they freeze well. Consider adding chocolate chips or a splash of bourbon for variations.
