- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, drained and chopped
- 1 cup pecans, chopped and toasted
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add the vanilla and pineapple.
- Toast the pecans in a skillet for about 5 minutes until fragrant.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture into a greased casserole dish and sprinkle with half of the toasted pecans.
- Add the remaining cream cheese mixture and top with the rest of the pecans.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Cool slightly, cut into squares, and serve warm.
Notes
Make-ahead tip: Prepare cream cheese mixture a day in advance. Store in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
