Description

A delightful dessert featuring a crunchy pretzel crust and creamy strawberry filling, perfect for summer gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter in a mixing bowl.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for about 10 minutes until slightly golden. Let it cool completely.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract, then blend until smooth.
  5. Fold in the Cool Whip gently until well incorporated.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust evenly.
  7. Arrange the sliced strawberries on top of the cream cheese layer.
  8. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

You can prepare the crust and filling a day in advance. Make sure to let the crust cool completely before adding the cream cheese mixture to avoid melting.
