Ingredients

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (button or shiitake)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the oil: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and allow it to warm up.
- Sauté the garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Cook the shrimp: Toss in the shrimp and stir-fry until they turn pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add vegetables: Introduce the asparagus and mushrooms and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes.
- Season the dish: Drizzle the soy sauce over the ingredients and season with salt and pepper.
- Combine and serve: Toss everything together until evenly coated with the sauce and serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
