Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries: Start by washing and hulling your fresh strawberries. Cut them into slices or quarters to enhance their juiciness.
  2. Macerate the Strawberries: In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with sugar and a dash of lemon juice. Let them sit for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Combine: Gently fold the whipped cream into the strawberry mixture. If using gelatin, dissolve it in warm water and incorporate it.
