Description

Indulge in homemade Sugar-Free Nutella, a velvety spread that combines rich chocolate with roasted hazelnuts for a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup hazelnuts, toasted
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar substitute (like erythritol)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the hazelnuts on a baking sheet and roast for about 10-15 minutes until golden and fragrant.
  2. Cool the hazelnuts for a few minutes, then rub them with a towel to remove the skins.
  3. Blend in a food processor, combining hazelnuts, cocoa powder, sugar substitute, vanilla extract, almond milk, and salt until creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired by adding more sugar substitute.
  5. Store in a clean jar in the refrigerator to let it chill and enhance flavors.

Notes

This Nutella stays fresh for up to two weeks. Consider adding cinnamon or coconut oil for a twist.
